Learning objectives

The KEYSTONE course aims to develop individual capacities and channelize latent capacities of Keystone Fellows, for investigating and addressing real-world problems of health systems and policy, through rigorous immersion in current health policy and systems research (HPSR) approaches, frameworks and methodologies

Teaching formats

The course starts by introducing Keystone Fellows to current frameworks to understand health systems and complexity, and the spectrum of approaches that make up the field of HPSR. Keystone Fellows are also familiarised with different disciplinary approaches in HPSR through the use of case studies, engaged in critical analysis of HPSR literature, and guided through the development of a research protocol
